use a Super S Cable
Probably, I’m not familiar with the panasonic but I’m pretty sure it has an RCA input. You will need a 1/8″ male to 2-RCA female Y-adapter which can be found at radioshack or similar electronic stores. RCA jacks are the red and white audio cable you see commonly in audio hardware.

1) Connect the 1/8″ side to your headphone/audio out from your laptop and the Red + White cables into any AUDIOIN jack in your home theater receiver.
2) Turn on everything and change the input source on your home theater remote to the proper channel/source.
3) Delight in higher quality sound.
